I was totally shocked I say, shocked and disappointed by this news...
BURBANK, Calif. (AP) - Snoop Dogg was arrested on suspicion of illegal drug and gun possession, police said.
The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at Bob Hope Airport, police said. Snoop Dogg posted $35,000 bail and was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 12.
Airport police officers stopped Snoop Dogg at a loading zone for a vehicle code violation. When officers searched the vehicle they found a gun and marijuana, police said.
You mean there's a violence and drug aspect to the rap music lifestyle...who knew? Predictably, Snoop's lawyer denied his guilt...
"There was no basis for this arrest," the rapper's attorney, Donald Etra, said in a statement. "We believe that once this is cleared up, all charges will be dismissed."
The only thing stupider than rap artists themselves, is their bleating attornies proclaiming the rappers' innocence when they get caught red-handed with drugs and guns.

Usually when dogs are found near a curb, there is a strong smell of urine in the area. I think Snoop was just "marking his territory" and that the police officers are over-zealous conservatives who cant judge the true worth of a person, only judging on appearances.
"officers being rap-hating conservatives" will be the likely defense offered by snoops attorney.
