The City Board members of Orchard Park, New York, who apparently have never participated in or even read a comment thread on the Interwebs, were shocked, shocked and surprised that people use sarcasm and snootiness when commenting about the lameness of the Board members' performance.....heh heh......

Orchard Park Town Board members said Wednesday night they have had it with criticism and complaints from several residents who frequently comment at board meetings.

“We don’t need the sarcasm; we don’t need the snottiness; and frankly, we’re really tired of it. It is inhibiting to everyone’s good will, and you people need to get over it,” Councilwoman Nan Ackerman said.

This is the Internet! There is nothing but sarcasm and snootiness here. It's what makes contentious discussion threads and flame wars so much fun.
