Obama's symbolism over substance

Here's how brain-dead the Obama administration is where economic matters are concerned. Because of the idiotic cash-for-clunkers program, used cars are now costing 30% more because so many of them were taken off the market last year. It's a simple supply and demand issue that the Adolescent-in-Chief doesn't understand. By forcing the prices of used cars upward, he harms the working poor and the middle-class because those are who generally buy used cars.

It's another example of Obama presenting his policy as helping the poor and stimulating the car economy but, the results show the precise opposite effect. "But never mind the results", we are lectured to by the media, "it's Obama's good intentions that count".
