In the mistake by the lake known as Cleveland, Ohio, the city is using $500,000 dollars forcibly confiscated from American taxpayers to implement the stupidest and scariest of recycling plans. They will purchase smart trash cans. Smart cans will have tracking chips which will monitor each family's recycling habits and rat you out to the authorities if you don't recycle at a level that meets the approval of your pompous, green overlords....From Michelle Malkin -- The chips will allow city workers to monitor how often residents roll carts to the curb for collection. If a chip show a recyclable cart hasn’t been brought to the curb in weeks, a trash supervisor will sort through the trash for recyclables.
Nothing pleases smarmy, self-important bureaucrats more than exercising ever more control over our every-day lives. They'll be excitedly digging through our trashcans like lecherous perverts, hoping to find a stray aluminum can so they can fine us for not recycling. Is this really the America we grew up in? Where petty tyrants rule their fiefdoms by tormenting regular Americans with endless regulations, political correctness, and fines for misbehavior? Where are the Ohio voters to kick these idiots out of office?
