“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Any publicity is good publicity

Are you offended by Starbucks' new logo? Yeah, me neither but, somebody is...

Seems that one person's smut is another person's morning latte.

A Christian group based in San Diego found grounds for outrage over the new retro-style logo for Starbucks Coffee.

The Resistance says the new image "has a naked woman on it with her legs spread like a prostitute," Mark Dice, founder of the group, said in a news release. "Need I say more? It's extremely poor taste, and the company might as well call themselves Slutbucks."

Oh, good grief! This logo is a Norse wood carving of a Rubenesque, twin-tailed mermaid. The Resistance clearly needs some attention and Starbucks always likes a little controversial publicity. The only offensive thing about this cup is that I'd have to pay $7 for the burnt coffee that comes in it.

I simply cannot wait until this group starts trying to get bills passed that requires domesticated animals wear clothes. I mean, seriously, who wants to see a dogs balls. Not me!

Predictably, the college kid scrapes the bottom of the barrel right out of the gate with the "dog's balls" reference.

Nice!

Then don't. It's a free market.
