I want my stupid pack of 9 airplane peanuts.....
ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- The return of peanuts to the snack menu at Northwest Airlines this month has prompted a spasm of protests from travelers with allergies.
That little, impossible to open, bag of airplane peanuts is just about the only pleasant thing about the commercial flying experience these days. Now that they are bringing them back, the airlines plan to create a three-row, no-peanut buffer zone around any allergy sufferer. But what about the rights of those 18 people who have to eat dry, disgusting pretzels because they were unlucky enough to have an assigned seat near a peanut allergic? Why must the rights of the abnormal always supplant the rights of the normal? If you are that allergic to peanuts, take the frickin' bus.
