“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

American culture digs a little deeper

In pursuit of quick, easy fame and fortune, people will do almost anything to create a reality-show personality out of their lives. And sadly, stupid, drooling Americans will watch pretty much anything....

LOS ANGELES – The mother of the world's longest-living octuplets is being deluged with offers for book deals, TV shows and other business proposals, but has not decided what she might do other than care for her children, her newly hired spokeswoman said Monday.

Hundreds of requests have been made since Nadya Suleman gave birth to six boys and two girls a week ago, said Joann Killeen, president of Killeen Furtney Group, a public relations company.

"She's the most sought after mom in the world right now," Killeen said. "Everyone wants to talk to her."

As stupid as a reality show about this brood mare and her litter of babies would be, at least if she cashes in, taxpayers won't involuntarily be on the hook for their upkeep. I don't care how many babies you have as long as you don't ask me to pay for them.

The question on everbody's mind, but that no one is asking, is where is the second parent in this picture? Of course the non-judgemental MSM will celebrate this brave, single mother struggling valiantly to raise her litter of pups, and no questions about the need for a father will be asked. Movies like "Knocked Up" and "Juno" removed the stigma of unwed pregnancy and made single parenthood cool. Furthermore, the lucrative book deals and talk-show appearances that this women gets will encourage more stupid, single women to attempt the same thing.

How sad is the state of American culture when we celebrate and reward a single mom for having 14 children under the age of 7?
