Obama must have learned history in dreadful public schools

For those of you with strong stomachs who watched Obama's address to Congress last night, you may have noticed his error when speaking about the automobile industry....

"I believe the nation that invented the automobile cannot walk away from it."

It is a widely held belief that Henry Ford invented the first car but in fact, Karl Friedrich Benz invented the first internal combustion vehicle in 1885. Henry Ford introduced the assembly line manufacturing process for the automobile. Since then America proudly pioneered and innovated the car industry for decades until the unions took over, now the American auto industry is a laughable shadow of it's former self, geared more to providing lavish cash and prizes to lazy, crooked union bosses rather than building and selling cars.

This is the early Benz, it might resemble what we all drive if Obama continues to plunge the country into ruin.
