The worthless Nobel Peace Prize this year was awarded to Mr. Liu Xiaobo, a Chinese dissident who languishes in a Chinese prison for his non-violent activism for human rights in that country. In Xiaobo's absence President Obama honored him with these gracious words.....

One year ago, I was humbled to receive the Nobel Peace Prize -- an award that speaks to our highest aspirations, and that has been claimed by giants of history and courageous advocates who have sacrificed for freedom and justice."

Wait, I thought Xiaobo was receiving the prize. So why is Obama still talking about himself?

Answer: because in the fever swamp that serves as Obama's mind, it's all about him. He's been praised like a messiah and worshipped like the Christ-child by the mindless drones who occupy the democrat party. It's no wonder he thinks so highly of himself that he opens by referencing himself.

The higher the pedestal, the further the fall

The Messianic Moonbat was the most over-hyped political candidate of all time. Just slightly less than half of American voters knew that he was nothing but a skeevy, street-corner pamphleteer with a fancy degree, brown skin, and mad teleprompter skills. Now the bloom is long gone from the Obama rose and the weak-minded zealots who voted for him are starting to have buyers' remorse. Over at the Huffington Post, some guy had this to say among dozens of angry posts by former Obama groupies.....

This is the silliest thing I've ever seen.....

In preparation for Obama's visit, authorities in India have ordered that all coconuts be removed from the coconut trees to eliminate the possibility that one might fall on his head. Seriously.

Is Obama so delicate and fragile that he has to be protected from falling coconuts? What a sissy! I've never seen a head of state, king, or princess be coddled like this. In India, do they still worship Obama as a deity on Earth the way America's stupidest voters did two years ago?

They're also talking about having the US Army erect a 1km long above-ground, air-conditioned, bomb-proof tunnel from Obama's hotel to Ghandi's shrine or somewhere because the only routes are heavily populated and not defensible enough by security.
Hello, it's frickin' India! The whole country is heavily populated! If heavy populations represent an unacceptable security risk to the Obamessiah, why go to India? I swear, every decision this administration makes is wholly unexplainable.

Politicians should be held in nothing better than contempt by all citizens. They are all smarmy, self-serving degenerates and not one of them deserves anything more than derision and skepticism. They should be tolerated as a necessary evil only as long as they protect and defend the Constitution, keep government small and limited, and stay out of the peoples' personal business. Outside of that, they are useless parasites, sucking at the public teat and should be thrown out of office at the earliest convenience....but never begged or revered by any citizen. This display is just embarrassing. Obama should be embarrassed, but I'll bet he thinks he deserves adoration from this guy.

Dead people = loyal Obama supporters

Apparently it pays to be an Obama voter, even if you're dead......

WASHINGTON – A government investigator says 89,000 stimulus payments of $250 each went to people who were either dead or in prison.

The Social Security Administration's inspector general said in a report Thursday that $18 million went to 72,000 people who were dead.

The government and media will report that it's just an honest mistake, but with the evidence of democrat operatives in ACORN using the names of dead people to cast votes for the Obamessiah, I think it's a little more than a coincidence. We know corrupt democrats think of their political friends first whenever there's taxpayer money to be doled out. So they probably used voter roles to decide to whom they'll send our money first, and why wouldn't it mistakenly include the names of all the dead people that were illegally used to pad the numbers for Obama in '08?

Obama did it again!

Who is handling our buffoon of a President? Now he's bowing to the communist Chinese too? I wish somebody would tell him to cut out the groveling already. This is embarrassing!

To what Asian leaders has Obama not bowed? Did he learn from watching too many Charlie Chan movies that it's appropriate to always bow upon greeting any Asian? I thought it might be Obama's clumsy ignorance and inexperience that made him think he should bow to royalty but, Hu Jintao of China is not royal that I know of. And Obama never bowed to Queen Elizabeth but, that's because she's white rather than because she's not a head of state.

If he's got any sense at all, he's leaning in to beg President Jintao to not call in our debt or change the world currency away from the dollar, and to please, please keep buying our bonds so he can continue to fork over billions to private businesses who are run, poorly, by his political friends.

I'll bet there is not much remaining of what little respect the world did have for the US, what with our self-inflicted recession that dragged the whole world down with us, and now with Obama prostrating himself, and the US by extension, embarrassingly and unnecessarily before various world leaders. What an amateur!

That’s a perception McCray said she shared. Obama, she said, “opened a door” and “made it easier for us to go there.”

If Obama is such a racial healer and bridge builder, then why do liberal blacks to this day mock and ridicule any black person who dares stray from the democrat plantation to be conservative or republican? They are called porch-monkeys, uncle-Toms, Oreo cookies, house-Negroes, you name it. I don't remember Obama defending Condi Rice when she was called Bush's house negro by the print media. Neither Obama, nor any self-congratulatory democrat, has done anything to improve race relations in America. With only a few exceptions, Americans have accepted bi-racialism for the most part because we are an accepting nation. Most Americans judge people based on their character, not the skin color of their mate....haven't we heard that somewhere before?

NEW YORK, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Embattled New York Governor David Paterson said on Sunday he was still running for office, in the face of reports that President Barack Obama had asked him to withdraw from the 2010 race for fear that he cannot regroup from a series of political setbacks.

The word on the street is that Obama(read Rahm Emanual) is worried that Rudi Guiliani will obliterate Patterson in the NY governor's race, giving him a high-profile launching pad from which to challenge Obama in 2012 or 2016. Plus, a strong republican governor in NY will weaken that state's democrat delegation to Washington and serve to check them in the state legislature. To keep Rudi out of the governor's office, the Obama administration wants democrat and friend-of-Obama, Anrdrew Cuomo, to run in place of Patterson, so they asked Patterson to not run at all.

I wonder what black activists like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson will have to say about the administration forcing a black governor out, in favor of a rich, white guy? My guess is you'll hear nothing but chirping crickets, as rank-and-file black democrats will keep quiet so as to not upset the HopeyChange apple-cart.

Obama's birth certificate.....the story that won't go away

I thought this story was basically dead, and it is according to the MSM but, turns out, it might have legs after all....

A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.

The US Constitution says that to be eligible to hold the office of President, you must be 35 years old and have been born in the United States. There has long been a rumor that Barack Obama was actually born in Kenya, rather than in Hawaii as he and his defenders have long argued. Maybe he was but, why has he not produced a certificate of live birth from a hospital in Hawaii?

Now, this major in the Army refuses to deploy on the grounds that it is a violation of the Geneva conventions for him to accept combat orders from an illegitimate President, and rather than receive a court-martial as should happen, his orders get mysteriously rescinded? Why? I've never given much credence to the birth-certificate rumor but, Obama's own behavior keeps prolonging it.

Or perhaps it's as we've always suspected, Obama was born the son of an immaculately conceived mother and that trumps any bothersome Constitutional questions.

The problem with policy Czars

These are just 12 of the 30 or so czars that Obama has installed as a shadow government. These people who carry the weight of the office of President behind them, answer only to Obama, not the American people. Normally people with this much power, cabinet members, have to be confirmed by the US Senate just like all other high-level Presidential appointees but, not these people. Read their names....have you heard of any of them? This is what the Constitution says about Presidential appointments.....

He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law.

This is how Obama is skirting the Constitutional process of advice and consent. He can have these drones do his bidding as he seizes control of every facet of American life, exactly the way the cabinet members do except that, these shadowy automatons don't have to be confirmed by the people, i.e. the Senate, before they are given control over us.

People, what you are witnessing is the incremental, methodical dismantling of the United States and it's devolution into a second-rate, welfare state, managed by diabolically evil socialists who've abandoned the Constitution in favor of political correctness and nanny-State governance.....and we've nobody to blame but ourselves.

Finally, the media is getting tired of being treated like school-children by the this administration. Why it took six months is anybody's guess. Both Gibbs and Obama are incapable of forming a lucid thought on the fly, instead requiring writers spoon-feed answers for them to regurgitate or read off the teleprompter. Maybe if they raise a big enough stink, Gibbs and Obama will have no choice but to return to the way presidential press conferences and daily press briefings have always been held in this country....unrehearsed and unscreened. The "transparency" of the Obama administration

Remember when Obama promised that his administration would be the most transparent in history....well, not so much as it turns out....

A top Republican senator has ordered an investigation into the Environmental Protection Agency's alleged suppression of a report that questioned the science behind global warming.

The 98-page report, co-authored by EPA analyst Alan Carlin, pushed back on the prospect of regulating gases like carbon dioxide as a way to reduce global warming. Carlin's report argued that the information the EPA was using was out of date, and that even as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have increased, global temperatures have declined.

"He came out with the truth. They don't want the truth at the EPA," Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla, a global warming skeptic, told FOX News, saying he's ordered an investigation. "We're going to expose it."

There might be something illegal about intentionally subverting a government report for no reasons other than it conflicted with your legislative agenda and casted doubt on your depraved, global-warming ideology. Sen. Inhofe has a steep uphill to climb, especially because the media will help Obama and his EPA hide the facts. Don't be surprised if the media starts snooping in Inhofe's personal life to find dirt with which they'll force him to stop his probe of their personal lord and savior, The Obamessiah.

With dissent growing by the hour, Obama and the democrats have to ram through idiotic, global-warming legislation that will cripple American industry for decades, drive thousands of jobs overseas, and result in thousands of job losses here at home in addition.

Dissenting opinion, no matter how scientifically sound, will not be tolerated by this administration. Government employees will march in lock-step, like sycophantic Nazis with Obama or they will be attacked by the slavish media, fired without cause, or otherwise intimidated into parroting the approved ideology as dictated by Obama.

The probing hand of Obama reaches into our homes

Not satisfied with ruining America's energy economy with cap-n-trade, bank and private company bailouts, and a totally flawed census, now Obama wants to control what kind of light bulbs we use in our homes too....

The president says that 7 percent of all energy consumed in America goes to light people's homes and businesses, and that if the newer, more restrictive energy efficiency standards truly take hold, there could a savings of $4 billion a year by 2022.

That the government would dare come into our homes and dictate that we use stupid, infernally dim, compact fluorescent bulbs demonstrates that there is no part of the private lives of Americans into which he won't intrude using the heavy hand of the federal police state.

After driving home in our tiny, but fuel efficient death traps forced on us by Government Motors, we'll stumble around in the cold, sterile dimness of CFD's, looking for candles to increase the light and warmth in our homes, after which we'll sit shivering, huddled under blankets for warmth in front of our government-approved 13inch, low-wattage TV's, watching the one approved station...OBN(Obama Broadcasting Network) as we stare blankly at yet another glycerin speech by The Obamessiah telling us how wonderfully equal we all are because of him.

God help us!!!

Go out right now and stock up on incandescent bulbs for the coming ban. You're either an independent, patriotic American or a brain-dead, Obama stooge, you can't be both.

Monday was a profound evening, hearing Dr. Charles Krauthammer speak to the Center for the American Experiment. He is a brilliant intellectual, seasoned & articulate. He is forthright & careful in his analysis, & never resorts to emotions or personal insults. He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments & views. He is a fiscal conservative and has a Pulitzer prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News & writes weekly for the Washington Post. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have shared this w/ many of you & several have asked me to summarize his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically & internationally. Even 2 Dems at my table agreed w/ everything he said! This is the 1st President ever who has chastised our allies & appeased our enemies!7. He’s now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (& pain) will not ‘come due’ until after he’s reelected in 2012. He’d like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, & hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego, & Mr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.8. Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. We’re ‘pining’ for another Reagan, but there’ll never be another like him. He believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty & Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in Feb.) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere & intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts & info if she’s to be a serious candidate in the future. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller govt., personal responsibility, strong nat’l defense, & states’ rights.9. The current level of spending is irresponsible &outrageous. We’re spending trillions that we don’t have. This could lead to hyper inflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid & Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due & people will realize the huge bailouts didn’t work, nor will the stimulus pkg. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama’s allies, unions & the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.10. The election was over in mid-Sept. when Lehman brothers failed. Fear &panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, &the war was grinding on indefinitely w/o a clear outcome. The people are in pain, & the mantra of ‘change’ caused people to act emotionally. Any Dim would have won this election; it was surprising is was as close as it was.11. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dims continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it’ll be a dogfight. It’ll all be about the economy.I hope this gets you really thinking about what's happening in Washington & Congress. There’s a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer & he encourages us to keep the faith & join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we’re right on most issues & can reclaim our country, before it's far too late.

Iran burns while Obama yucks it up with a 40 year old adolescent

Is it just me, or is the Obama administration startlingly casual about the possible Iranian revolution and the Nork situation?

40-something year old punk Tony Hawk actually skateboarded in the White House over the weekend. Is this the appropriately serious attitude the administration should have in light of what's happening around the world? Iranian students were dying for a shot at freedom at the exact time jack-ass Tony Hawk was treating the White House like a skate park. While North Korea threatened Hawaii with missiles and the US with all-out war, the media got the vapors over what kind of ice-cream the Obama's fed their stupid dog.

Is this administration serious about anything but nationalizing every major industry in America and irreversibly expanding the welfare state....I mean besides making sure all the cool people in the world continue to adore The One?

Beware the Government-Industrial-Media Complex

I was under the apparently misguided impression that the U.S. Presidency was a serious job, with serious issues, and serious work to be done.....foolish me.....

The Caucus - NBC was clearly thrilled to have enough access to President Obama to base a two-part, prime-time special on it all this week (Part II runs Wednesday night.)

Mr. Obama, however, went even one step further for the network – participating in a spoof interview segment for “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” during his formal question-and-answer session with the NBC News anchor Brian Williams at the White House.

In the segment, shown on “Tonight” late Tuesday, Mr. Williams asked Mr. Obama whether he almost canceled his overseas trip this week “to stay and watch” Mr. O’Brien’s “first week as host of ‘The Tonight Show.’’’

Mr. Obama was fully game and, referring to Mr. O’Brien’s succession this week of the former “Tonight” host Jay Leno, joked, “This is something we discussed several times in the Oval Office, how to manage this transition between Leno and Conan. And I think he’s up to the task. But I just want him to know that there is not going to any bailout coming out from Washington if he screws it up.”

The economy's in the tank, the federal government is taking over private industries left and right, unemployment is 6%-8%, the Norks and Iranians have nukes and are threatening to use them, gas prices are creeping higher and higher, and Jon and Kate are splitting up. Does our President have the time to be goofing around in a serious news interview? And should the President be this chummy with a major news organization(NBC) which is supposed to represent the peoples' interests in checking the President's actions?

Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "Beware the military-industrial complex". Under the reign of Obama, we should beware the Government-Industrial-Media complex.

It pays(unethically) to be a democrat

If, as a car company, you were going through bankruptcy restructuring, wouldn't you keep the most profitable dealerships and get rid of the unproductive ones? Apparently, Obama has different plans for Chrysler's dealers. There's a rumor going around that the decision on which dealers to close was made based solely on politics rather than productivity. It seems that of the dealerships that were notified that they would be closed, every one of them contributed heavily to GOP candidates. If this is true, it would expose the Obama administration as the craven party zealots they are. First they give control of the company to the union thugs and now they're firing the most productive dealerships and giving the business of selling cars to the least productive, because they are democrat donors.

If this is true, I really hope Chrysler fails completely now. The unprecedented intrusion into markets by this administration is breath-taking in it's hubris and arrogance.

Wanda Sykes is an ass-kissing coward!

The White House Correspondants dinner is supposed to be a good-natured roast of the President, consisting of comics poking fun of him and then him poking fun of himself. Wanda Sykes was the headliner and she did not make a single joke about The One....

Sykes pledged to “get in their face” about gay marriage, but refused to get in the face of the most powerful man on earth about it. Wanda Sykes is a self-described militant lesbian. So why didn't she take the opportunity to at least poke fun of Obama for opposing gay marriage? Could it be that with all craven liberals, dutiful Obama-worship supercedes personal convictions, even to the point that one is compelled to deny one's own self in subservient genuflection before The One?

Sykes even attacked Sarah Palin in her absence, though Todd Palin was there and had to endure it. What a reprehensible lowlife Sykes is! If Wanda Sykes wants to be militant, why not be brave and joke about the people she's supposed to joke about...to their faces?
