The feckless media are reporting on a phenomenon called "climate-change delusion". I guess it's the new popular syndrome from which stupid environmentalists suffer. Here's the evidence....
-an anxious, depressed 17-year-old boy was admitted to the psychiatric unit at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. He was refusing to drink water. Worried about drought related to climate change, the young man was convinced that if he drank, millions of people would die.
-children who are having nightmares about global-warming-related natural disasters
-anxiety in patients because they've been told that climate change is expected to create about 200 million environmental refugees by 2050
Anybody who believes in man-made global warming is already a deranged psychopath and should be medicated and not allowed out of doors. Treacherous politicians know that a dumbed down, celebrity-obsessed populace is easily managed with fear, followed by the promise of safety, and the media are complicit in this deception. The whole cult of environmentalism hinges on this dynamic of fear and redemption. Thus the doctors' convenient solution....
In the long term, we may also derive some psychological benefit from banding together with other citizens to mitigate the effects of global warming.
The modern eco-religionists are phenomenally weak minded and snake charmers like Al Gore easily lead them around by scaring them with tales of impending horror from a menace that is wholly imaginary.
A rubber room at the laughing factory----a deserving fate of your garden-variety environmentalist.
