You hate when this kind of thing happens to a young person(when it's an adult, it's easier to laugh at) but of all the dumb ways to get your head cut off....
The popular "Batman the Ride" rollercoaster at Six Flags Over Georgia remained closed Sunday while authorities continued investigating the death of a teenager who jumped over two fences and was struck by the ride.
According to police and the amusement park, Asia Leeshawn Ferguson-17, of Springfield, S.C. and a friend climbed over two 6-foot fences -- a wrought-iron style park perimeter fence and a second chainlink fence around the Batman ride -- as a shortcut to get back into the park after lunch. Signs about 40 to 50 feet apart on the outer fence warn that it is a "restricted area" for "authorized personnel only."
According to park officials, a sign on a locked gate at the chain link fence also reads "Danger zone" and "Do not enter."
Ferguson was decapitated when the ride struck him, police said.
What made this kid think it was OK to sneak back into the park against the rules? I went to that park dozens of times as a teen and never, never considered sneaking back into the park, or doing anything else against the park rules for that matter.
Next is the legal phase of this case in which smarmy plaintiffs lawyers vie for the opportunity to strike it rich by suing Six Flags on behalf of the bereaved family. Never mind that the dumb kid in effect, committed suicide. The lawyers know that if you can get an hysterical mother of a decapitated teen in front of twelve hand-picked morons, you can get a judgement for millions, regardless of the faultlessness of the defendant. What a great country we live in, where the legal system allows you to plunder the wealth of others for the bargain basement cost of a coffee-burned crotch, a gator bite, or a self-executed headless teenager.
Sorry to be so cynical, but you know this is what's coming.

The person I feel sorry for is the one whose foot took of that guys head, or maybe his friend who had to witness up close and personal the decapitation. Seeing his friend's head roll across the ground might be sort of hard to forget. Good luck sleeping for a while.
