Obama's backdoor gun-control scheme
With the ink barely dry on the reports of his big win on Tuesday, Obama has already revived the over-reaching United Nations Arms Treaty. Ostensibly designed to curb the trade in illegal arms between nations, the treaty would allow the activists courts of any nation to claim regulatory dominion over domestic gun trade.
(Note: The US federal government claims regulatory dominion over any activity, ANY AT ALL, no matter how insignificant that affects commerce in any way, to be under it's purview because it must affect interstate commerce too. Don't think they wouldn't try the same approach regarding private gun ownership.)
The UN treaty that Obama will enter into with the help of Harry Reid in the Senate, has such broad language that it wouldn't be a reach at all for any of Obama's activist judges to establish federal regulatory authority over domestic gun manufacturing and sales to individuals. This is why Harry Reid plans to change the rules of the Senate so that he only needs 51 votes to end filibusters. He knows that he cannot approve a US treaty if he needs 60 votes.
First they take your guns, then when they come for your freedoms and property, you have nothing with which to resist.
