Now that establishment, republicans Bill Kristol, Sean Hannity, and Charles Krauthammer have grovelled obsequiously before Obama by agreeing to taxes on the rich(Kristol) and amnesty(Hannity and Krauthammer), how long before Obama starts using their quisling positions to his advantage by citing their support in press conferences?
He's having a rare press conference later today and when taxes or immigration come up, you can bet he'll mention Kristol at least and maybe the other two.
DC republicans and their wives enjoy the Washington cocktail circuit and you only get invited if you're friendly to the administration in power, and this year, that includes only squishy republicans who promise to play nice with the President. It's as if Kristol, Hannity, and Krauthammer have read the writing on the wall and have adopted the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" political survival posture. It's as embarrassing as it is antithetical to conservatism.
