I'm guessing you've heard about the 15 year old kid in Brownsville, Texas who was shot and killed by police for brandishing and refusing to put down when ordered, what turned out to be a pellet gun similar to the one pictured.
Were the police justified? I say yes. After Columbine and Va. Tech, you don't bring any kind of weapon to a school. And, when cops tell you to do something, you'd better do it or you risk getting shot.
If you point one of these at a cop, you just might get shot.
Exit question: what's a 15 year old doing still in the eighth grade? Did he get held back for being stupid?.....evidently.

"On the recording, police can be heard yelling: "Put the gun down! Put it on the floor!" In the background, someone else yells, 'He's saying that he is willing to die.'"
I wonder, could this have been a case of suicide by cop?
I thought of that, Isaac. Maybe he knew the cops would have no choice but to shoot him. I heard one person wonder why the cops didn't try tasering him first. Maybe he presented a more immediate threat than that. Who knows?
