“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Candidate Calculator

OK kids, with no incumbent or VP running for CiC, there are a slew of candidates from both parties in the mosh pit of american politics throwing elbows here and kicking shins there. There are so many choices that sometimes it's difficult to know how to narrow it down. Well there's a site where you can answer a few pertinent questions about issues and it will tell you which candidate you match up with best. I took the test and though I claimed to be voting for Guiliani, it told me I matched up best with Thompson based on the issues that were most important to me and which side I was on. This'll be fun. Everybody go to the Candidate Calculator and take the test. It only takes like 3 minutes. You waste more of your employer's time than that looking at this web site. Report back as always in the comments section and tell us how you did.

82% Mr. Fred Thompson. I'm actually pleased with the way he put away criminals on Law and Order all those years.

Guiliani looks a little weasely to me. Thompson at least "looks" presidential. Plus he's like 6'6".

That being said, polling show that Guiliani is the only GOP candidate with a chance of beating Hillary. That's not a reason to vote for him in a normal election year but good grief, this just might end up being an Anybody-But-Hillary election year.

Haha yeah no kidding. I'm feeling a vote for anyone who will keep troops in Iraq, and won't universalize health care, or have the crazy idea to appoint themselves dictator for life. So, thats Anybody-But-Hillary/Not-A-Democrat. Pretty slim pickins though.
