“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

You're fired!

I want to publically thank George Bush today, not for defending Amurka against terr'ists, North Korean neuculer bombs, or the temptations of offshore gambling. No today I want to thank W. for saving us from the evil queers that infest our military.

It seems that if you are gay, Bush doesn't think you are patriotic enough to translate terrorist communications from Arabic into English for the U.S. military. Apparently you are more of a threat to Amurka as a gay soldier than the terrorists whose secret messages scarce few Americans can understand. Of all the asinine administration policies I've heard, this has got to be the stupidest...

WASHINGTON — Lawmakers who say the military has kicked out 58 Arabic linguists because they were gay want the Pentagon to explain how it can afford to let the valuable language specialists go.

Seizing on the latest discharges, involving three specialists, members of the House of Representatives wrote the House Armed Services Committee chairman that the continued loss of such “capable, highly skilled Arabic linguists continues to compromise our national security during time of war.”

Can you believe the abject stupidity of this administration? There is a huge shortage of Arabic speakers in the military to translate sensitive communications between terrorists, and Bush has kicked out 58 of them to date because they don't adhere to the republican party's idea of morality...unbelievable!!! Regardless of what you think about gays in the military, this country is at greater risk by not having these patriotic Americans helping with the fight against the terrorists.

For you gays-are-evil morons out there, let's say a terrorist group organizes a coordinated attack on a shopping mall killing dozens of civilians, maybe your family included. Would it give you any comfort knowing that an Arabic translator who could have prevented the attack was fired the day before because he wore too much pastel in his off duty hours?

Ed, does this mean that you have come over to the dark side and are now pro-gay rights?

My, how progressively enlightened of you. I wouldn't have expected this given your typical cro-magnon positions on people different than you.

No, idiot--I am in favor of human rights which includes the right to work in the military for your country in fighting terrorists. What I'm against is special rights above those basic human rights we all enjoy.
