Hillary Clinton is a vile, loathsome wretch of a socialist...but you already knew that. What you might not have known is that occassionally she gives us a glimpse of the communal, welfare-state hell in which we would suffer and toil if she tricks the stupid American voters into electing her in '08. Here's a snipet of a recent speech she gave to a group of students at a tech school...look for the key socialism phrases she masks with feel-good, nanny-state rhetoric...
Clinton: Shared Prosperity Should Replace 'On Your Own' Society
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton outlined a broad economic vision Tuesday, saying it's time to replace an "on your own" society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.
The Democratic senator said what the Bush administration touts as an "ownership society" really is an "on your own" society that has widened the gap between rich and poor.
"I prefer a 'we're all in it together' society," she said. "I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none."
That means pairing growth with fairness, she said, to ensure that the middle-class succeeds in the global economy, not just corporate CEOs.
"There is no greater force for economic growth than free markets. But markets work best with rules that promote our values, protect our workers and give all people a chance to succeed," she said. "Fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies."
-Right off the batt she opens with "shared responsibility and prosperity". SHARED PROSPERITY--that's socialist double-speak for "the government, run by me, will take the money that you earn, and give it to people who didn't earn it, but who voted for me."
-Then she pooh-pooh's the "ownership society". Hillary hates the concept of the individual. Everything should be community property. In Hillary's twisted and tortured mind, it's your responsibility to work on behalf of those who choose not to work and provide for them. The government, run by Hillary, will decide how much of your prosperity you will be allowed to keep and how much must be forfeited and given to the shiftless, loafing hippies who voted democrat. You do not own the wealth generated by your hard work, others have rights to it according to Hillary-style socialism.
-"to ensure the middle-class succeeds in the global economy". The Constitution guarantees our God-given right to "the pursuit of happiness". It doesn't guarantee happiness itself. Liberal democrats pretend to be in favor of equal opportunity but what they mean is "equal outcome". If you work hard, get educated, stay off drugs, and manage to accumulate some wealth, Hillary thinks that some of what you earned should be given to lazy, stupid, drug-addled hippies because it's just not fair that you have a measure of wealth and they don't. That they stupidly squandered every opportunity is irrelevant, they deserve to be as wealthy as you.
-"Fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies". To Hillary and all liberals, America is great because of the government's intrusion into, and control of, all things. We conservatives know that the free market, unfettered by the meddling of pointy-headed government bureaucrats will provide every citizen with far more opportunities to acquire wealth than any government program can.
Hillary Clinton...having a good laugh at the abject stupidity of most American voters.

The Ant and The Grasshopper
OLD VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long,
building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and
plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building
his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and
plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and
demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.
CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable
home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp
contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor
grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, "It's Not Easy Being Green."
Jesse Jackson stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house
where the news stations film the group singing, "We shall overcome."
Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the
grasshopper' s sake.
Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King
that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity and Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.
Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed from a list of
single-parent welfare recipients.
The ant loses the case.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits
of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just
happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote
"We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society."
[Hillary Clinton, 1993]
Enough said.
