Useful idiot

In case you haven't heard, washed-up, has-been "actor" Danny Glover has received $20M to make a couple of movies, from blood-thirsty, murdering, thug dictator Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Nobody in the U.S. can remember Glover's last successful movie so he has been sucking up to the America-hating socialist, always criticizing the U.S., for a couple of years now and it's finally paying off for him.

For the government school graduates reading this, Vladimir Lenin is generally credited with coining the phrase "useful idiot".
used to describe Soviet sympathizers in western countries (particularly in the United States). The implication was that the person in question was naïve, foolish, or in willful denial, and was being cynically used by the Soviet Union, or another Communist state. The term is now used more broadly to describe someone who is perceived to be manipulated by political movement, terrorist group, or hostile government, whether or not the group is Communist in nature. If anybody fits that description of a "useful idiot" it's Danny Glover.

As if you needed another reason not to see Danny Glover's movies besides them being horribly unwatchable, his siding with a socialist psychopath against his own country should just about do it.
