Rory McElroy ditches Bay Hill.....he's weak
The Bay Hill Invitational hosted by Arnold Palmer started yesterday. This is Palmer's signature tournament and out of respect, pretty much everybody plays, as they should.
World #2 Tiger is playing, but world #1 Rory McElroy is skipping it, claiming he has to have his wisdom teeth out. He's been playing like crap lately with a new set of clubs so he's probably at home trying to find his game in time for the Master's in two weeks.
I'll remind Rory that Tiger played and won a golf tournament two years ago with a broken leg. Professionals play in important tournaments with pain and a sore tooth doesn't count. Rory isn't quite ready to be the face of golf. I predict Tiger will be #1 soon enough anyway.
