Get prepared. The nutty environmentalists are driving the price of milk up by forcing ethanol into our fuel economy...With milk already averaging more than $3 a gallon nationally, economists say the price could rise more than 30 cents this year.
Here's how it works: global warming zealots think ethanol will solve all our climate change problems so they get weak-minded legislators to go along with government mandates. Ethanol manufacturers drive the price of corn up and dairy farmers have to pay more to feed their dairy cows. The result is that the rest of sane America have to pay more for milk so that the Birkenstocks and granola crowd can drive around with pride that they are saving the world.
Ironically, some poor families will complain that they can't feed their children because milk is too expensive and the same weak-minded legislators who caused the price to go up in the first place, will pass laws taxing the evil rich milk drinkers in order to pay for free milk programs for the poor.
