Obama's humiliation is sign of the times
Obama to Asian Pacific-Rim countries: "Hey fellas, how's about we form an economic cooperative and exclude China?"
Asian Pacific-Rim countries to Obama: "Screw you, Obama. Not only are we including China in our economic cooperative, but we're excluding the moribund US. Your economy is too weak. You don't belong in the club any more."
Last month President Obama went with his hat in his hand to the APEC(Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperative) and tried to do a deal with those countries, but a deal excluding China. At last week's meeting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the 15-member nations voted to form an economic alliance among themselves that excluded the US.
Even Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea abandoned Obama. They see that the US is not on sound economic footing. Our debt is too large, our spending is too great, our taxes are too high, and our hyper-regulatory bureaucracy has stifled industry and business to the point that companies can't flee the US fast enough, yet Obama continues his single-minded assault on the free market and economic capitalism with regulations and taxation.
With that vote, the new age of the post-American world was ushered in, much to Obama's delight I'm sure.
