There's a jack-ass standing on the corner in front of my building mocking George Bush and the republicans with a big sign that says "Mission Accomplished".
As I walked by I said, "Dude, don't you have a job to go to?", knowing full well what the answer was. He just started yelling at me about getting the republicans out and what had the war in Iraq accomplished etc.
I guess it's a good thing we republicans got up and came in to work today in spite of the election outcome, otherwise who'd pay for the gov't checks this guy evidently lives on?

Well spoken, Ed!
I wonder if Republicans will pout about this loss the way Democrats have for the past 8 years. I'm thinking they'll get up, dust off and move on. I hope they'll work hard to restore integrity and get back to Republican principles.
Well said, Tracie. That's exactly what rank and file republicans like us will do. Work, earn, produce, and be self sufficient....it's what conservatives do.
The question is will our representation in DC do the same, or will they do like Peggy Noonan and Kathleen Parker and kiss The One's ass so they get invited to all the cool parties?
Call me what you will, but yesterday I stared at the four choices I had and chose Bob Barr. I will not vote R until they better represent conservatism.
Meanwhile... I quit my job, stopped payment on my mortgage, and I am sitting waiting for a free college education. Yes we can!

Haha! Spoken like a true Democrat! Minus the whole college bit. Who needs an education when the government will give you money?
My comment at the top here is misplaced - it was meant for Reid's post below ("Change???")
I apologize.
