“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Sarah "Take No Prisoners" Palin

Over at RightWingNews John Hawkins has a Best-of video montage of Sarah Palin's speech last night. If you don't view any other video clip today, go watch this one, and re-experience the excitement of the speech.

With every great line, it was like she was whacking Obama or Biden on the toe with a ball-peen hammer. I loved it!

UPDATE: Is that not the cutest little girl....EVER? Those 6 seconds on air last night of her licking her hand and combing the baby's hair were priceless.

Smackdown! I watched last night and loved it!

Yes, that little girl licking her hand to smooth the baby's hair was the sweetest.

I heard/ watched the coverage
on and off all evening.

I thought Romney could have done better.

I enjoyed Mike Huckabee's speech.
"I'm not a Republican because I grew up rich, but because I didn't want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me."

Sarah Palin represents everything that feminism was supposed to be about, but that has been abandoned and sacrificed at the alter of abortion politics. And the media and democrats don't know how to deal with that.

I agree. Piper was THE cutest licking her hand and smoothing her little brother's hair.

And did you see Sen. McCain greeting everyone at the airport? That made me cry.

Ape like grooming is a great way to attract left wing animal lover votes. A well placed lick on camera how genius is this woman.

Pwned.

Careful with that ax, Eugene. Enjoy the moment of the spit bath and the librarian glasses and the fresh face. In fact, savor them.

Then reflect on your values, decide what the "big rocks" are for the U.S., THEN reconcile your voting decision with these items.

Mine are (so far):
Education - as a nation we are slipping into the third world abyss educationally. If we do not correct this: game over.

National Security - it's not just blowing things up and killing people. In fact the most important facets (borders, language, culture) do not require us to leave home nor high explosives.

Fiscal sanity - really part of national security but probably warrants separate consideration. We must balance the budget and live within our means as a nation. We have de-valued our Dollar to the point it will soon cease to be the global standard. Money is power and a strong Dollar will enhance our national security without firing a shot.

I'm sure there are more but this is my rough draft.

Nice Pink Floyd reference David! I am impressed by that one. Not many people know about that song.

F.Y.I. Pink Floyd song referenced is "Careful with that axe, Eugene" for those who didn't know.

Kevin,
I learn't of that song in about the 9th grade and I've been waiting to reference it ever since. Thanks for showing me I'm not alone with my trivia trap.
