This is a must read article by David Deming outlining the pure idiocy of the whole global warming hoax being perpetrated by the self-promoting sheister Al Gore to enrich himself.
Seriously, go here and read it. Here's an exerpt...
Al Gore says global warming is a planetary emergency. It is difficult to see how this can be so when record low temperatures are being set all over the world. In 2007, hundreds of people died, not from global warming, but from cold weather hazards.
South America this year experienced one of its coldest winters in decades. In Buenos Aires, snow fell for the first time since the year 1918. Dozens of homeless people died from exposure. In Peru, 200 people died from the cold and thousands more became infected with respiratory diseases. Crops failed, livestock perished, and the Peruvian government declared a state of emergency.
In spite of all the scientific evidence to the contrary, such as that outlined in this paper, a critical mass of kool-aid drinking sycophants defiantly believes in anthropogenic(man made) climate change. Polling data show that when asked why they believe in global warming, most people say, "because everybody else does". When you ask people to point to something that demonstrates the effects of global warming, they routinely cite some ridiculous, contrived propoganda like the polar bears supposedly stuck on the ice floe, which turned out to be a complete fraud.
People, you need to wake up and think for yourselves for a change and stop allowing the agenda-driven media and self-serving politicians lead you to believe something that is farcical like global-warming disasters on the horizon. They want to keep you scared so you won't complain when they seize control of you lives, claiming that it's "for your own good".
Here are a couple of quotes from H.L. Mencken that illutstrate my point...
The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it.
"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

Sounds like our present president, doesn't it?
@Capt., there's one fatal flaw in your reasoning: terrorists are real, global warming is wholly imaginary.
It is impossible to deny the fact that global warming is fake. When someone can give a shred of proof that it exists, then we won't be having this discussion anymore.
It was impossible to deny Saddam had wmd, too - they had tons of proof they existed.
(This does not mean I buy the global warming hype uncritically.)
About the terrorists, Ed - yes they do exist. And they are the perfect Good Enemy for the Bush admin.
They would be the enemy of any administration. Is your point capt., that they would be the friend to a democrat administration? Do you think they chose to attack the WTC during a republican's tenure and avoided it during Clinton?
If any of those are your points, you are insane.

No, Ed - those are NOT my points.

Being a Good Enemy for A does NOT mean you're a friend to A's opponent.
Good grief, Ed.
Well, merry xmas anyway.
Well then please explain your points, or else refrain from leaving cryptic, ambiguous comments as they are subject to broad interpretatiion.
"Sounds like our present president, doesn't it?"
Why even say this if those weren't your points? and...
"And they are the perfect Good Enemy for the Bush admin."
Why even say this?
I REALLY wish Capt. would explain. Honestly.
