Not to be deterred by no cases of swine flu in their state, idiot bureaucrats are determined to get in on the action anyway....
BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― Maryland health officials say there were no confirmed or suspected cases of swine flu in the state as of Monday afternoon.
State officials say it is only a matter of time until the swine flu shows up in Maryland. So far, the state has not had any reports of swine flu, but that's not stopping officials from taking precautions.
There's nothing wrong with preparation but, a command center? What do you bet it's catered with fresh pastries and gourmet coffee all day? Mmmmmm...pastries!
Here's Maryland's new state-of-the-art command center....ready to deal with all the cases of swine flu that officials hope come one day.

Obama asked for 1.5 billion to combat the swine flu... but there are only 68 confirmed cases... it isn't serious enough to close the border from which the disease is coming... but they need 1.5 bil...is it just me or does something seem odd about that?
If this isn't enough to warrent closing the borders, then nothing is. There could be thousands of Mexicans infected with Bubonic Plague streaming across and our deplorable politicians would not close the border. Once again when the smoke clears, you will be able see the opportunistic hand of Rahm Emanuel all over this crisis. Somehow, he'll use it to advance the socialist, health-care agenda. When people are scared, they'll accept ANY government tyranny in exchange for security and Emanuel will use that to his advantage.
We are swirling the bowl faster and faster folks. At some point we won't be able to unflush the toilet.
