The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," saying the economic recession, the election of America's first black president and the return of a few disgruntled war veterans could swell the ranks of white-power militias.
A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority.
"It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," the warning says.
The nine-page document was sent to police and sheriff's departments across the United States on April 7 under the headline, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment."
Just like in George Orwell's 1984, dissent from the official state will soon not be tolerated in America. We who refuse to drink the Obama Kool-aid may be rounded up and placed in re-education camps for reprogramming and indoctrination in the ways of the new world order. You think I'm kidding? Then why is DHS starting to investigate anybody who questions the authority of the imperial Obamunist state? Read that sentence in red above and tell me what right political bureaucrats have in investigating private citizens who voice dissent against the federal government. And if I'm against Obama's wide-open definition of immigration, that makes me a potential extremist? You see what's happening here: anybody who disagrees with the socialist policies of The One are incrementally being marginalized and painted as dangerous radicals.

Maybe I misread the Constitution, but I thought my right to redress the government was to be protected by the government? I also thought the rights of the states and of the people reigned supreme except where outlined in that glorious document?
Guess I'd better start packing, so I can be ready when they come to take me for my "re-education."

About a month ago, I heard about people who voted for a third party being under suspicion. Last week I heard about a guy who works for The Campaign for Liberty being harassed at an airport.
I won't go so far as to say it's a vast government conspiracy but, it might be an administration conspiracy. I definitely think guys like Emanuel, Carville, Begalla etc have a plan to marginalize conservatives as extremists and stuff like this is evidence of it.
