Apparently the nimrods in the Alabama House down in Montgomery have solved all our other problems. I mean since they have time for this sort of nonsense...MONTGOMERY -- The Alabama House has approved a resolution that praises Miss USA contestant Carrie Prejean for speaking out against gay marriage.
When Alabama's high-school graduation percentages are in the 90's rather than the 60's; when corruption and cronyism are no longer a given in Montgomery; when legislators cut their spending budgets before they raise our taxes, then they can waste taxpayer money and time on pointless social statements. Embarassingly, this kind of crap resonates with many Alabama voters....that's why the representatives do it.
