Israel should go ahead and wipe out Hamas, do the world a favor

What's the deal with Hamas suddenly? They kill three kids, then decide it's a good idea to attack Israeli civilians with rockets? The IDF responded with no less than 200 bombing runs over Gaza as at least half the Israeli population is taking cover in shelters.

For the first time in a long time, the Obama administration actually defended Israel and scolded Hamas. Somebody check real quick, are dogs and cats living together too? It's usually the other way around.

Israel is only going to put up with this for so long and when that time comes, if you live in Gaza, look out!

Did Hamas kill three Israeli teenagers, or was that a false flag operation carried out by the Israelis and blamed on Hamas?

FROM THE ISRAELI NEWS SITE, BEHADREY HAREDIM:

Rabbi Yaakov Roger, a member of the Chief Rabbinate and Rabbi of ZAKA, the rabbi at the morgue of Forensic Medicine, said in a conversation with Behadrey Haredim that for the first time, since receiving the case where bodies lay in the warm weather, worms were not found on their bodies.

"I testify that the three saints were not controlled by maggots," says the rabbi, and is surprised. "Beyond the bullet holes there were not any signs of abuse or damage."

"According to doctors at the Forensic Institute, there is no scientific explanation for this phenomenon," says the rabbi.

COMMENTARY: Eighteen days separated the killing of the three Israelis and the finding of their buried bodies in a shallow grave where temperatures reached 30-40°C every day. No damage; no maggots? Sounds to me like the bodies were kept in cold storage until their usefulness in stirring up the Israeli population [and ED] was accomplished. ~I.A.N.

Oh, by the way, Gaza is an open-air prison and Israel, a foreign invader and occupier, has a stranglehold blockade in place. Nothing gets in or our that Israel don't want in or out (including essentials). So where did these "rockets" come from that Hamas has supposedly fired at Israel? Sounds like more bullshit to me.

Ed said...

Apparently there are lots of tunnels and other assorted modes of clandestine transportation from the Egyptian side.

Isaac A. Nussbaum said...

The fact that the Palestinians have to conduct commerce via tunnels is revealing, n'est-ce pas?

The brutal invading occupiers have the latest and greatest military hardware given to them and flown in by Boeing C17 Globemasters et al, while the Palestinians trade goats for Radio Shack missile kits via sandy tunnels.

OH, yeah, I can see why you pity the Israelis. Radio Shack sells some lethal shit.

Ed said...

I seriously doubt the Hamas weaponry are children's toys. They get the latest hardware from Iran, Syria, Egypt, etc., with the understanding that they regularly attack Israel with it, thus bizarrely garnering worldwide sympathy from liberal media types.

I've never been quite sure how that works as a formula for international sympathy:

Step 1: kill Israeli civilians in unprovoked terrorist attack.
Step 2: bask in the glow of American media sympathy for your "plight"
Step 3: repeat as desired

Isaac A. Nussbaum said...

"They get the latest hardware from Iran, Syria, Egypt, etc."

A little proof, por favor.

Ed said...

Come on Isaac, it's practically axiomatic that the balance of Arab states enjoy immensely the put-upon Palestinians being used as a cudgel by the international media against the eeevil Jooos. It is to their benefit and enjoyment to arm Hamas and Hezbollah so they can launch attack after attack from Gaza. Regardless of any feelings for or against the Palestinian desire for a homeland, they didn't arm themselves. Where do you think all these rockets are coming from? Did the Palestinians develop a weapons industry overnight? Somebody armed them.

Isaac A. Nussbaum said...

"Somebody armed them."

Who, exactly? How, exactly? A bobby pin doesn't get into Gaza unless the Israelis say it's O.K. (Can you say, "Freedom Flotilla"?) And you can't get a missile through a hand-dug tunnel that is only big enough for a man to walk stooped over. So who and how?

Isaac A. Nussbaum said...

By the way, you mentioned Hamas in your lead paragraph and, as so often is the case where the Middle East is concerned, you have your facts wrong. ISIS - NOT Hamas- claimed credit for the murder of the three Israeli teenagers and the subsequent rocket attacks.

Ed said...

Ok,I'll conceded that Hamas denied responsibility and if the word of a terrorist organization is good enough for you then it's good enough for me.

Still, Hamas is the prime source of the rocket attacks, no?

"Still, Hamas is the prime source of the rocket attacks, no?"

Well, ISIS claimed responsibility but, as you so aptly noted, ISIS and Hamas might not be fonts of truth. Kind of like the U.S. and Israeli governments and the legacy media, for example.

Ed said...

Heh heh, touche' my friend.

Still, just because all governments, official-state and otherwise, lie in pursuit of their own ends, doesn't mean Hamas and/or ISIS aren't responsible for the rocket attacks on Israeli civilians.

Excerpts from: “Can We Stop Pretending Israel is Being Attacked?” By Ben Cohen

If you can watch Israel decimate Palestinians and take their land on live television, year after year, decade after decade and still justify their behavior, then there is little point in engaging in debate. It’s takes an extraordinary leap of logic to justify Israel’s brutal occupation of Palestine….

Make no mistake – Israel is occupying Palestine illegally and ruthlessly punishing them anytime they try to fight back.

So far, no Israelis have died from Hamas’s ineffective rocket fire.

The fact is, if the situation were reversed, there would be a far different response from the US media. […] How would Israel respond to a foreign army encroaching on its territory and illegally detaining its citizens? They would rightly deem it an invasion and would do everything in their power to fight back. The problem is, Palestinian lives are not seen as being equal to Israeli lives, so Israel can do what it pleases in the land it occupies.

Israelis routinely claim that they have to defend themselves against Palestinian attacks. But occupying someone else’s land is an attack itself, so it is impossible to defend yourself if you are the person attacking. So can we please stop pretending Israel is being attacked?

Ed said...

How is this Palestinian land and not at the least, shared territory? The Jews have just as great an historical claim to that land as the Palestinians do.

So Isaac, is it your contention that all the Jews should abandon what is now Israel and return to the countries they were, in around 1948?

Maybe all the Jews should just go ahead and move to New York City. What's your grand solution?

If Mongols or Huns invaded Alabama with guns, tanks and bombs, killing men, women and children, ripping open pregnant women's bellies, throwing babies down wells, making refugees out of large swaths of the population, burning farms, orchards and groves, stealing houses, lands, water and other resources, and pouring their raw sewage down on the property of the remaining Alabamans, would you agree to call Alabama "shared territory"?

Ed said...

Nobody's throwing babies down wells or ripping open pregnant women's bellies. Nobody's doing any of the things in your outrageous list....except maybe Muslims.

I realize you'll come back with references where some dude like me, who runs a pretend news blog "documenting" the Israeli atrocities, but he's no more valid a news source than I am. The difference is, I don't pretend to be.

Isaac, the main stream media in the US despises Israel. They report sympathetically about the Palestinians almost daily. Why would they not report atrocities like this if they were really happening? It makes no sense.

Ed said...

Where are you getting all this propaganda? You know as well as I do that the US media hates Israel and never miss an opportunity to report negatively on it. Why would they sweep stories like this under the rug? Short answer: they wouldn't. Therefor, it didn't happen.

Isaac A. Nussbaum said...

That is exactly what happened ... and more ... when modern day Israel began in 1948, resulting in the calculated depopulation of over 400 Arab villages and cities and the expulsion of over 700,000 Palestinian inhabitants to make room for survivors of the “Holocaust”® and other Jews from the rest of the world.

Israelis have graduated to worse crimes since then ... the bombing of water and sewage treatment facilities, the use of white phosphorus, the destruction of civilian residential centers, using Palestinian school children for target practice, shooting pregnant women "One shot, two kills", etc.

Isaac A. Nussbaum said...

The truth doesn't fit Ed's world view so he sticks his fingers in his ears and shouts, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" Heaven forbid he should find out for himself whether what I say is true or not.

Isaac A. Nussbaum said...

BTW, even though Ed is not interested in hearing anything about Israel that hasn't been sanitized and prepackaged by the legacy media, some readers may have a more open mind. To them, I recommend the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz online, as a great place to start. The opinion letters therein are very revealing.

600 deaths in Israeli Gaza op: Military hits mosques, stadium, homes, hospital

Israel kept up attacks on Gaza on Tuesday, killing three Palestinians and hitting over 70 targets, including five mosques, a sports stadium and the home of the deceased Hamas military chief.

A United Nations school which is helping to shelter displaced Palestinians in the center of Gaza also came under attack from Israeli fire as a team was inspecting damage from the day before, a UN official said.

The official mentioned that a team, who had been given permission by Israel to enter, were at the school, which is run by the UN in Al-Maghazi, when Israeli tanks resumed their shelling and hit the building.

(So Israel tells the Palestinians to leave their homes so they won;t be killed; then shells the school where they moved to; then shells the school a second time while the UN inspectors are examining the carnage. God's chosen people. You gotta love 'em.)
