“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Inept Hamas bombers kill their own people

The IDF says that they've tracked at least 160 total rockets fired that fell short and landed in Gaza, killing Palestinians and destroying infrastructure such as a vital power plant......that Israelis pay for and maintain.

Of course when this happens the Palestinians run hysterically to the friendly media and blame the Israelis for the death and destruction, blame the media are only too happy to regurgitate to the world.

Ah, yes, that paragon of truth, the IDF. I wouldn't believe the IDF if they said the sky was blue.

An Israel Air Force general charged with all aerial ground support during the campaign in Gaza denied Tuesday that Israel targeted the Gaza Strip’s only power plant earlier in the day.

The power plant was hit by a strike in the early hours of Tuesday, knocking out electricity through the Strip and setting off a massive fire that sent gigantic plumes of black smoke over much of Gaza throughout the day.

“The State of Israel did not attack Gaza’s power plant,” said Brig. Gen. Yaron Rosen, the commander of IAF Air Support and Helicopter Air Division.

“It has no interest (in that),” he added. “We transfer to them the electricity, we transfer in the gas, we transfer in the food in order to prevent a humanitarian disaster. So we attacked the power plant?”

The general said it was possible the plant had been hit by Israel by mistake.

Munitions, he said, can sometimes “skip,” and strike targets unintentionally, as occurred during 2008-9′s Operation Cast Lead.

“The matter is under investigation,” he added.

That might have happened, but it isn't in Israel's interests to kill the power to Gaza.

It is however, in the interest of the Palestinians to blame Israel when they accidentally killed their own power plant.

I think that's the most likely scenario.

It may not be in Israel's interest as you view Israel's interest, Ed. It is in their interests as THEY see it, and as they have seen it from the outset - drive every Palestinian possible off their land and kill all those that won't run.

“When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are to possess and casts out the many peoples living there, you shall then slaughter them all and utterly destroy them…You shall make no agreements with them nor show them any mercy.” -Deuteronomy Chapter 7

P.S. The Palestinians are just the initial targets. Other neighbors might as well put their running shoes on.

Genesis, Chapter 15, Verse 18: "In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt (Nile) unto the great river, the river Euphrates (Iraq)."

Zionists will never rest until they have stolen part of Egypt to its west, and huge parts of Iraq, Lebanon, Syria & Jordan to its north and west (as well as part of Saudi Arabia to the south.

Such a radical redrawing of the Middle Eastern map will require a major regional - or perhaps even global? - war one day in the future. (Could that be why the U.S. is goading Russia into WWIII?)

Israel has used 50,000 missiles in the current assault, killing almost 1,500 Palestinians and smashing 40% of Gaza into rubble.

Hamas’ mostly symbolic missiles have killed zero Israelis and broke one mirror and one teacup.

1. We haven’t heard reports of deaths. We will check into it.
2. People were killed, but by a faulty Palestinian rocket/bomb (Ed’s favorite)
3. O.K., we killed them, but they were terrorists.
4. O.K., they were civilians, but they were being used as human shields.
5. O.K., there were no fighters in the area, so it was our mistake. But we kill civilians by accident. They do it on purpose.
6. O.K., we kill far more civilians than they do, but look how terrible other countries are!
7. Why are you still talking about Israel? Are you some kind of anti-Semite?
