“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Infestation at the DNC
Heh heh, bed bugs have been reported in nine of the hotels used by DNC convention goers in Charlotte.
I wouldn't wish bed bugs on anybody but democrats. Hilarious!
Being that the main purpose of the two parties is to get us to fight each other rather than our real enemies (the shadowy power brokers behind the curtain), how to explain Ed's rabid rightness?
Is it a) because he is oblivious to the fact that he is being used to deflect attention away from the enemies of good and decent folk everywhere or b) is he complicit in their crimes?
Isaac my good friend, you are conflating my personal conservative views with the loyalty you imagine I have toward the GOP. I have no such loyalty.
That said, and though I believe as you say that there are power brokers that reside above elected government who set policy and manipulate us regardless of who wins elections, in the short term, the GOP still embodies my beliefs more closely than the democrats.
In the long term I pretty much believe as you do that elections are more or less kabuki theater to keep us distracted so we don't peek behind the curtain at who's really operating the strings that influence our government, economy, military, foreign relations, etc.

Inquiring minds want to know.
I wouldn't say "rabid", I would call it common-sense conservatism, thank you very much Isaac.
More later....very busy at work.
