Apparently English people cannot tolerate a little heat

Across the pond temperatures are supposed to peak this week at 35C....that's 95 on the normal scale that we Yanks use. Really? Here in Alabama, we get up in the morning and it's 95 outside and triple digits is nothing. We get that 20 days out of every summer. I guess like a lot of northerners in this country, the Brits don't generally have air conditioning. Still, 95 isn't all that hot.

Oh, and I included this helpful but totally unnecessary picture of gals in bikinis to illustrate hot weather. Those surf boards must be accessories because I don't see any waves, but then who's looking at the surf boards?
