“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Drug addicts are victims of their own weakness and stupidity

Before and After picture of crystal meth. addiction.

Apparently Mexican drug cartels weren't satisfied with the money they're making from cocaine and marijuana sales, so they've begun flooding the US with low-priced crystal meth.

If I've heard it once I've heard it a thousand times, "Drugs took over her life" or "He's a victim of drug addiction".

Drugs didn't DO anything. The very first time you choose to take illicit drugs, you make a conscious decision to become an addict. It's not the drugs' fault, it's your own fault. The cartels wouldn't be targeting the US if it weren't for all the idiots in this country who'll do literally anything to get high. Idiots, I swear!

Not really...

Maybe people are depressed or down and need something other than a hug to help them through a tough time. CLEARLY you haven't ever tried drugs or your opinion would be different, as it is a very naive statement to make.

You can say that about fat people shoving a cheeseburger down their throat, but drugs are a totally different story.

And, your beliefs are the farthest thing from the truth.

For example, the majority of native americans have an innate problem with addiction(its a proven fact) so basing your statement solely on personal choice is flawed.

Secondly, it effects the dopamine, nor-epinephrine and serotonin receptors in your brain with use. So, subconsciously, regardless of how strong your willpower is, you crave it more.

Most drugs trigger the same endorphins/reactions similar to when you have sex or reach orgasm.

So how 'bout this...go live the rest of your biased life without ever having sex again.

You/your brain will OBVIOUSLY crave it and inevitably you will give in one day. Consider drugs in the same light.

The first time they use? Sure its a conscientious choice made by the person. But willpower aside, drugs have a strange way of altering your brain.

Initially you "are above it" and can have the willpower to stop.

However after some casual use(pot aside), your brain starts adapting to function in this "altered" state, to the point where you are no longer yourself without it.

Sure you can stop, but using the analogy before...

It would be like not being able to have sex, and being stuck in a room full of naked women who are eager to have sex with you.

Clearly you haven't used drugs, so don't write blasphemy about something you don't have any first hand knowledge on.

And "reading a pamphlet on drugs" or, "my friend told me blah blah" doesn't count as knowledge.
