Giant bobcats in Georgia
This picture was taken in my hometown of Carrollton, Georgia. It's a giant bobcat and apparently spottings in that part of the state are on the rise. I thought bobcats were more or less nocturnal hunters which is why you never see them. Look at the size of this animal. There aren't many dogs he couldn't kill. I'd hate to run across him while taking the trash can down to the street after dark.
A few years ago my school, State University of West Georgia, changed it's name from the politically incorrect "Braves" to the boring West Georgia Wolves, but maybe we should actually be the West Georgia Bobcats, I mean since there are no wolves in Georgia.
