“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Michael Steele needs to be fired....like 5 minutes ago

If this story is true, then Michael Steele should be forced out at RNC Chair immediately.....

From FoxNews -- The Republican National Committee say it's getting back nearly $2,000 that it reimbursed to a member for a night out at a bondage-themed night club in West Hollywood.
The report noted that the RNC spent $17,514 on private aircraft and $12,691 on limousines in the month of February, according to Federal Election Commission filings. Recent travel expenses also included $9,099 spent at the Beverly Hills Hotel, $6,596 dropped at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles and nearly $20,000 combined for the Venetian and the M Resort in Las Vegas and the W in Washington.

I've heard rumors of Steele being a free-wheeling big spender as RNC Chair. That is the last image we want the leader of the supposedly conservative party displaying as we head into the most important election probably in my life time. If nothing else, we have to be concerted in our portrayal of ourselves as fiscal conservatives above all else. That's the best argument we have for defeating democrats in 2010 and Obama himself in 2012. With Steele's lavish spending, we appear to be no more sensitive to the recession than the Obama's.

I heard that Karl Rove used to pitch a fit when there were flowers as unnecessary center-pieces on banquet tables at the white house, because we shouldn't be spending taxpayer money on frivolous things. We need somebody like that to run the RNC.

Hey, I hear Rove is looking for something to do. Somebody give him a call.

One would swear they're taking lessons from Pelosi on how to rack up the expense accounts.

Spending money they way the RNC does is no way to win elections.

Looks like he is purposely trying to foment the creation of a third party. When are these Liberal Republicans going to learn? Please join the Democrats if you want to act like one and leave the Republican party to the adults!
