Obama's whole presidency is inexorably tied to passage of some version of health care reform and he'll stop at nothing to make it happen.....From The Weekly Standard -- Tonight, Barack Obama will host ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House; he's obviously trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten is Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today President Obama nominated Matheson's brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Is it possible there could be a more transparent instance of blatant bribery? I don't' think so unless you count the Louisiana Purchase for Mary Landreau's vote, or the Cornhusker Kickback for Ben Nelson's vote.....all democrats if you hadn't guessed. What happened to Nancy Pelosi's "most ethical, transparent congress. evah"? When it comes to cramming bad legislation down the throats of Americans, there's no such thing as ethics or transparency to democrats.....just get it done.
