I think the PGA Tour is in a blind panic right about now with this news...
From DOUG FERGUSON AP Golf Writer -- Tiger Woods is taking an indefinite leave from professional golf to work on saving his family, using the word “infidelity” for the first time in a statement posted on his Web site.
Woods says he is aware of the disappointment that “my infidelity” has caused to his wife and children. He says he might not be able to repair the damage, but he wants to try.
This is the best move for Tiger but, I wonder what the other Tour professionals are thinking, given that the ad revenue, and therefor the winning purses, will be dramatically lower for the indefinite future. Either it's, "Yea, now I have a chance of winning without practicing very hard." or "Bummer, now the tournament purses will be half of what they used to be when Tiger was in the field."
