“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Obama applies idiotic TSA terror screening rubric to Ebola flights from west Africa

So the Obama administration announced today that the incompetent, groping fiends who staff the TSA will be screening inbound air passengers from west Africa, for fever. They have designated 5 airports where 94% of those flights come in.....but they are limiting the number to about 150 total passengers per day screened.

There are more passengers on each flight than that! Are they following the same idiotic rubric they use for terrorist screening? Spot checking randomly? They should be checking literally every single passenger that arrives on any flight from any west African country where Ebola has appeared.

I have additional concerns.....if the incubation period for Ebola is 21 days, will every person infected present with a fever regardless of where in that 21 days they are? I don't think that's the case, and aren't the implications of somebody getting through too high to not check everybody? Why 150?

A political solution to a real threat. Are you surprised?

I fly tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

“... I watched in amazement as a few hundred members of the Texas Academy of Science rose to their feet and gave a standing ovation to a speech that enthusiastically advocated the elimination of 90 percent of Earth's population by airborne Ebola. The speech was given by Dr. Eric R. Pianka, the University of Texas evolutionary ecologist and lizard expert who the Academy named the 2006 Distinguished Texas Scientist.” ~Forrest Mims, Chairman of the Environmental Science Section of the Texas Academy of Science

Except airborne Ebola doesn't exist....that is unless somebody weaponizes it. And I'm not sure if even the most criminally insane scientists have the technical ability to force a viral pathogen to change it's vector mode.

No Ebola testing for me today.

But did you enjoy the groping from the TSA goons Dave?

Excerpted from “Airborne Transmission of Ebola is a Possibility”

“David Sanders, an associate professor of biological sciences who has studied the Zaire strain of Ebola virus that is responsible for the current outbreak in West Africa, says the possibility of the virus becoming airborne should not be discounted.

‘It is not unprecedented for a virus to change its mode of transmission,’ he says. ‘Ebola does share some of the characteristics of airborne viruses like influenza, and we should not disregard the possibility of it evolving into something that could be transmitted in this way.’"

Excerpted from ” Scientists warn Ebola transmission may be airborne; urge full respirators for frontline health workers”

“The fact of the matter is that Ebola has never been proven not to transmit through the air, which is reason enough to assume that it does for the safety of workers on the ground. The two doctors explain that, scientifically speaking, Ebola currently has ‘unclear modes of transmission,’ meaning nobody truly knows all the ways that infections can emerge.
.
‘We believe there is scientific and epidemiologic evidence that Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients, which means that healthcare workers should be wearing respirators, not facemasks,’ they wrote, citing an earlier paper Dr. Brosseau published in the American Journal of Infection Control.”

I work with a couple of microbiologists in the EM lab who look at non-virulent strains of Ebola with us routinely. I'll ask about the likelihood of vector-mode transition.

I let myself get distracted, Ed. The issue is not Ebola vectors but, rather, that there are wealthy and/or influential people who believe strongly that the wholesale death of humans is a desirable thing.

(i.e. “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation.” ~Prince Phillip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II and co-founder of the World Wildlife Fund)

What, in your view, is the connection between sentiments like these and the current Ebola scare?

Ed said...

Well, I know there are influential people, whether known or unknown, who believe what you say, that humans are a terrible parasite on Earth and should be most eradicated.

These people quietly cheer when mass human death happens, so it wouldn't surprise me if they are cheering for a deadly, widespread Ebola outbreak here in the US as well as Africa.

I think they believe that Earth has natural defense mechanisms of which viruses play a major role. They see viral contagion as a natural process by which Earth protects herself from us.

All that said, I haven't heard anybody actually utter such nonsense regarding the latest scare.

"...I haven't heard anybody actually utter such nonsense regarding the latest scare."

I haven't either, Ed. I will be keeping my eyes and ears open, however, for any hint that this Ebola scare has a connection to the vile strategy outlined below.

"It is indispensable to... utterly exhaust humanity with dissension, hatred, struggle, envy and even by the use of torture, by starvation, BY THE INOCULATION OF DISEASES, by want, so that the "goyim" [i.e. gentile “cattle”] see no other issue than to take refuge in our complete sovereignty in money and in all else." Protocols of Zion, 10, 19

I don't think this has anything to do with Israel and everything to do with our sheer incompetence.
