Vacuous ding-a-ling Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, evidently senses that her tedious insanity is running a tad thin with music fans so to stay relevant, she's decided to have a baby and her only criteria for the sperm donor is that he be Italian.

Most performers suffer from an external locus of their ego. They correctly value themselves only as much as their audience values them. That's why attention starved celebrities are always having babies at the ebb of their careers. The purpose for half of all celebrity babies is to accessorize their careers to keep fans interested a little longer.

Record sales for LadyG are flagging and as any attention whore knows, when fans stop buying your crap, your relevancy has an end-date. Celebrities will do almost anything to cling to popularity, from running around without panties so the paparazzi can take pictures, to posing for Playboy, to guest spots on Lifetime movies.
