Say it ain't Sosa!!!

This is Sammy Sosa and his wife before and after his "skin rejuvenation" procedure. Sadly it's true that even within black populations, lighter skin color is preferable to darker skin color and darker colored individuals within that population suffer discrimination from the superior-minded lighter colored individuals. It was stated by Nigerian activist and musician Fela Kuti, that some blacks tend to internalize the racism that burdened their ancestors and it manifests itself as this "colonial mentality" in which the whiter your skin is, the higher class, and therefor the more desirable, you are.

As a white guy, I'm not sure I should even be commenting on this but, come on Sammy! You look like Michael Jackson. But I guess if you're willing to take steroids and cork your bat, what's the big deal about a little body bleaching?
