A stupid British couple who bragged that they were sailing in waters that were too rough for Somali pirates, were immediately seized by Somali pirates and are now being held hostage for ransom...heh, heh.
Paul Chandler, 58, and his wife Rachel, 55, were last heard from early Friday when they set off an emergency radio beacon from their 38-foot yacht, followed by an urgent plea on their blog.
Apparently their retirement plans consisted of sailing the world's exotic oceans in their yacht. Somehow I don't think being brutalized by pirates was exactly the exotica they were after.....idiots! And, what moron would pay the ransom of people who so cavalierly sailed right into the hands of their captors? Probably nobody.
