Apparently our government, a government less than a decade away from massive attack is now sponsoring a day for these people on our government land. I am totally appalled. I am not against the Muslim religion, only its practices of genocide, rape, slavery, murder, etc. I am completely opposed to any act of our government giving in to these cowards and jackals. They have had their day in the sun. If we had attacked Baghdad in a similar fashion, the international press would have burned us at the stake. No turning of the cheek and absolutely no nationally sponsored "Muslim Day". Lincoln, Washington and Jefferson are all rolling over in their graves at this travesty. What can the liberals in charge come up with next? I give up!!

Reid, I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that Obama will attend this ceremony whereas he ignored the 9-11 ceremonies, choosing to pretend to paint some dilapidated house instead.
He's the sole reason this service is desecrating the governmental buildings of DC. If we had only elected a Baptist!!!!
I don't believe this is aimed at rewarding the radical Muslims that have attacked America, but rather to build a bridge between the legitimate Muslim peoples and the US people. Just like we can hold the Republican National Convention and not cry out that it is a meeting of the Ku Klux Klan. I know you will likely stroke to see this, but remember most of them are simply people digging in the dirt living squalid lives and not weapons of mass destruction producing masterminds. And the ones better off live much like you and I and are not plotting to overthrow foreign governments (well maybe you and I aren't the best examples in that scenario ;-)
Your point is well made Bill. I cannot argue that most Muslims are poor, the problem I have is promoting a relationship with a people that believe that "infidels" (as we all are other than them) should be eliminated from the planet, and the eliminator is honored by Allah in doing so.
