“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”
Socialist Party presidential candidate Norman Thomas

Islam, not depression, is why 5 people died in Chattanooga
The familly of Mohammad Abdul Aziz, or whatever Islamic cliche' his name is, is saying that he suffered from depression.....seemingly as an explanation for his murder spree in Chattanooga.
I call "bull-shit"!
If depression causes people to suddenly and inexplicably become mass murderers, then why aren't the other 14.8 million Americans who have depression running around killing people? No, it was the welcome influence of deranged Islamic teachings on a weak mind that sent this lunatic over the edge, not depression.

Multiple BS flags fly in from every ref on the field.
Anybody notice this scum was born in Kuwait during the period Saddam ravaged his country and we saved them to great celebration? What gratitude and what was he told about that by whom?
Great catch Bill. I hadn't done the date math.
I'll never forget being at the CRTC in Savannah and learning that Saddam had invaded Kuwait. I'm pretty sure Brian and I were eating at the Waffle House. Remember getting pictures taken for the green ID's for the call up that never came?
Yep, I was disappointed. I'll bet if we'd been an air-to-ground unit instead of air-to-air only, we'd have been taken. I don't remember the Iraqi AF getting off the ground much after day one of Desert Storm.....not much need for AIM-9's and 7's.
Though I do remember that one pilot got an air-to-air kill when he dropped a laser-guided bomb on an Iraqi chopper that was in flight....heh heh.
Yes, a F-15E Strike Eagle. They were given an urgent mission change to intercept a helicopter full of so called elite troops sent to intercept some of our guys. The LGB supposedly went through the low flying helicopter and blew up under it. Of course the explosion was not needed after a 2000 lb bullet pierced the bird!
The pilot later flew F-16's in the SCANG outfit I retired from. Captain, later Col Richard Bennett. I never had a chance to ask him about it.
The SCANG Vipers did go to Desert Storm, being air-to-ground and one is in the famous picture of a mixed group of U. S. fighters flying over a burning oil field.
”Every mass shooting over last 20 years has one thing in common... and it's not guns.” (Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, Editor of NaturalNews.com)
The common denominator?
”The overwhelming evidence points to the signal largest common factor in all of these incidents is the fact that all of the perpetrators were either actively taking powerful psychotropic drugs or had been at some point in the immediate past before they committed their crimes.
Multiple credible scientific studies going back more than a decade, as well as internal documents from certain pharmaceutical companies that suppressed the information show that SSRI drugs ( Selective Serotonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors ) have well known, but unreported side effects, including but not limited to suicide and other violent behavior. [….] www.ssristories.com … has documented over 4500 " Mainstream Media " reported cases from around the World of aberrant or violent behavior by those taking these powerful drugs.”
Isaac, if only the media would report on the psychosis known as belief in the righteousness of the cult of Islam, we might get somewhere.
"...we saved them...."
"One million dead Iraqis, four million displaced abroad, hundreds of thousands of orphans and birth defects from the American ordnance, and continuing ongoing violence from factions fighting over the remains. These facts are incontestable. Yet the United States Government [AND ED] claims to have brought “freedom and democracy” to Iraq. “Mission accomplished,” declared one of the mass murderers of the 21st century, George W. Bush.
The question is: how can the US government make such an obviously false outrageous claim without being shouted down by the rest of the world and by its own population? Is the answer that good character has disappeared from the world?" ~Paul Craig Roberts
Isaac, I've taken no such position. I believe we have brought neither freedom and certainly not democracy to Iraq. I think they were better off with Saddam than what they ended up with, ISIS.
That's not to say that Saddam wasn't a piece of shit and deserved what he got, but it's not the business of the US to pick and choose which evil dictators we depose, especially when we don't have much of a plan for what comes next.
I've taken no such position."
My bad, Ed. It was Bill who, in a break with reality, wrote, "...we saved them...."
