I'm undecided about how I feel about this....
A guy put his plans for a 3D-gun on the Web for anybody to use. Obviously it was downloaded like 100,000 times in 48 hours. Now the government has scrubbed it from the Internet. Fortunately for liberty, Pirate Bay put it up for download so it's still available.
As a 2nd-amendment libertarian tending toward anarchist, I want our corrupt government involved in as little as possible. As a citizen who understands the government's interest in public safety, perhaps 100,000 people walking around with an urgent need for a gun that defeats metal detectors isn't such a great idea.
But when it comes to choosing between more liberty and less liberty in the interest of public safety, I always choose more liberty. 3D guns for everybody!!!

The Forbes story, "Disarming Realities: As Gun Sales Soar, Gun Crimes Plummet" will ease your worries, Ed.
I agree Isaac, with the likelihood of everybody being armed going up, the wisdom of picking a fight becomes increasingly questionable.
