The economy's in shambles, people are hoarding money already, and The One and his faithful but dumb sidekick, Tiny Tim Geithner think that taking more of peoples' money away from them is the best way to handle the situation....With budget deficits soaring and President Obama pushing a trillion-dollar-plus expansion of health coverage, some Washington policymakers are taking a fresh look at a money-making idea long considered politically taboo: a national sales tax.
Don't believe for one minute that Obama, Emanual, and tax-cheat Geithner think they are handling the economy. They are using Americans' misery to seize more and more control of our lives and permanently expand the behemouth federal bureacracy. They want Americans to be miserable and hopeless. Our dependency is good for them.
Imagine how much less you could purchase each month if everything costs 10% more because of a federal VAT. They are using every tool at their disposal to ruin the economy. First spending money we don't have, and then taxing the crap out of us to pay for it.
I weep for the future.
