BALTIMORE — Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings has held elected office for more than a quarter-century, so he's seen his fair share of politicians come and go.
"This is not a campaign for president of the United States, this is a movement to change the world," he said as he introduced Obama last week in Baltimore.
"He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere," George Clooney told talk show host Charlie Rose.
"I'll do whatever he says to do," actress Halle Berry said to the Philadelphia Daily News. "I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear."
We're used to dumb, liberal democrats saying idiotic things about their candidates but this is starting to move into the absurd now.
"Mindless democrat drones. Prove your slavish devotion to me and go jump off that cliff over there."

First it is a well liked leader. Then we all get tagged , for our own safety, but still tagged. Cell phones that allow the owner to be located. GPS. The mark of the devil. We are spiraling rapidly down the path of destruction. Sadly we are either watching and doing zero, or we are doing this willfully. Either way we end up in HELL. If this guy is eleceted the world will start its path towards unification and then... well the second coming is not far off. Hope this got your attention, 'cause this election is crucials to the future of the world as we know it. I am not completely enthralled with othr candidates, just scared to death of this seemingly enigmatic nice guy. He is whacked out and needs to not be elected.
Right you are bobby t. Of course the whole anti-Christ thing, I'm 99% sure, is stated tongue-in-cheek, but at the very best, Obama is a vacuous, plotting socialist, wrapped up in feel-good platitudes and empty, mesmerizing rhetoric.
The whole Obamamessiah mania is kind of weird...and by weird I mean scary.
