Expectant mother Jamie Lynn Spears has passed her GED and is looking forward to college, reports People.com. The 16-year-old star of "Zoey 101" is said to have taken her high school equivalency exam about a month ago -- scoring well on reading comprehension.
Seriously? This passes for news now? Who gives a crap that a dumb, knocked-up, hillbilly tramp got her GED?
Terrorists, immigration, the economy, the election, gas prices, all continue to shape our lives in profound ways, yet one of the Spears hayseed clan doing the bare minimun to graduate high school makes the news. THIS is why America is in cultural decline and her future is in jeopardy. I'll bet more Americans can tell you that Jamie Lynn got a GED than can tell you 2 of the 4 remaining candidates running for president...(not including Nader and other sundry nutjobs).
