“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

What's in Ed's CD player this week?

I know you've been asking yourselves, "I wonder what Ed's been listening to lately." Well here's the list in no particular order of preference...I like them all...

-Foo Fighters- In Your Honor

-Sting- Brand New Day

-Yellow Card- Lights and Sounds

-World Party- Goodbye Jumbo

-Foo Fighters- One by One

-Steely Dan- Showbiz Kids

-Joe Jackson- The Very Best of...

-No Doubt- The Singles 1998-2003

-Big Country- The Best of...

-Foo Fighters- There is Nothing Left to Lose

Clearly I've been on a Foo kick lately. Dave Grohl (drummer) was the only interesting member of Nirvana as far as I'm concerned, and it was a blessing for Cobain to have bought the farm. It gave Grohl the freedom to form his own band and write his own music.

Ahhh the comfortable topic of music. No liberal vs. conservative; no whacko; no death; no politics -well sorta. Anyway here goes my list:

Latest in the CD player:
Essential Bob Dylan
Billy Joel Piano Man
Christopher Cross self titled
Jr. Walker and the All Stars
greatest hits
Lonestar and 2 obscure Beach Music albums.

Led Zeppelin - The Immigrant Song
Genesis - Illegal Alien

I'm trying to reconcile these two songs.

Chilli Peppers
Johnny Cash
Sex Pistols
Men at Work (retro: early 80's)
Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
