“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Socialist Party presidential candidate Norman Thomas

the littlest victims of global warming

It's no secret that I am a rabid, man-made global warming denier. The hysteria and depths of stupidity of environmental religion cultists boggles the mind. There is nothing, nothing that they won't say to advance their anti-capitalist agenda. With that in mind, look at what the war-on-weather zealots are blaming on global warming now...

Global warming concerns are keeping children awake at night

Half of young children are anxious about the effects of global warming, often losing sleep because of their concern, according to a new report today.

A survey of 1,150 youngsters aged between seven and 11 found that one in four blamed politicians for the problems of climate change.

This is the dumbest thing I've seen all week(and this week had a lot of Anna Nicole, Britney, and Joe Biden) so that's saying something. Kids are as interested in global warming as they are in the McNeil/Lehrer News Hour. 7-11 year olds are losing sleep at night because they're staying awake past their bedtime to watch Jack-Ass, South Park, or Sports Center.

Dont forget drugs, booze and text messaging.

Texting definitely. But I hope I don't have to worry about drugs and booze from my 12 year old.

I hope not as well, but you need to be vigilant. They are available at all middle schools now.

I vow regularly to not be one of those head-in-the-sand parents who claims with certainty, "My child would never do drugs."

Those are the only people who're surprised when their kid gets busted.

No, I talk to my kid almost daily about the pit-falls of this stage of adolescence.

Inappropriate employment of sex, drugs, alcohol, and rap music are regularly cautioned against.

There is a strong association with participation in youth sports and the successful negotiation of adolescence without any major mistakes. For this reason, my kid does year-round sports of some kind.

It's true, actually!

The best part about kids is that they tell the truth and are refreshingly honest about what's bothering them.

They might have it wrong about who to blame, all of it anyway, but it's definitely true that they are concerned. And they should be, after all it's their future we are trashing...
