“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Obviously, God wants The Donald to be Prez.

If you are a Christian and you believe that seeing the virgin Mary in your french toast is divine pareidolia and you think Christians shouldn't be Trump supporters because he doesn't invoke God all the time and isn't evangelical like Cruz, then you must be conflicted by this clear image of The Donald in what appears to be pancake batter, or plastic resin of some kind.

Why, it's an election-year miracle and clearly a sign from God. ;-)

Are those beliefs ones that "Christians" hold?

Anyway, Trump is the one claiming IRS harassment due to him being a 'strong Christian."

Which ones, the pareidolia or that you can't be a good Christian and support Trump? Catholic Christians, if you believe in such, believe in divine pereidolia, but I have a lot of FB friends who think that Trump is pretending to be Christian to get the evangelical vote. That may be the case for all I know, but I'm not a single issue voter, nor do I think that specific religious dogma has a place in public policy, so I don't really care about that.

I wasn't clear. I think belief in divine intervention via pancake batter is a small minority Christian belief. Thanks for the new word. ;-)

Regarding Trump, I believe very little of what he says.

Trump is a con-man. I don't think he is pretending.

The fact that the banking/mega-corp/political class/military and industrial interests/cabal are terrified that he cannot be controlled by them, is reason enough to not fear a Trump presidency, regardless of what other nonsense he comes up with.

Let's face it, normal elections are kabuki theater for the dumb voters to believe that we have a say in our governance.....we do not.

There is a cabal of super-constitutional people who operate the same, enriching themselves and pulling the strings, floating incestuously back and forth among the big banks, the FED, government, and big corporations, regardless of whether the window dressing in the white house is red or blue. I'm convinced that the President is merely a hood ornament for the movers and shakers who don't care what party in in "power".

Does this make me a conspiracy nut? That remains to be seen, but Trump throws a big monkey wrench into that cozy nest of corruption.

That said, I did not vote for Trump.
