“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

New Charlie Hebdo cover

So this is the new Charlie Hebdo cover that's going out tomorrow. Normally their circulation is about 50,000 but tomorrow they expect to sell 3 Million copies.
Most American media outlets refused to show this image out of quisling obeisance to Islam, but mostly out of shameful fear.
"Tout Est Pardonne" means All is Forgiven, but I'm not sure who is doing the forgiving here, the staff of CH who survived or Mohammad. I guess I don't get French humor. If you know, please explain.

George Freund writing for Intellihub:

"Charlie Hebdo believes in free speech. They believe so strongly they fired journalist Mona Chollet in 2000 for her protests of their comments on Palestinians. In 2008 cartoonist SinĂ© took on another faith. He was fired for being anti-Semitic. He made a cartoon about Jean Sarkozy’s marriage to Jessica Sebaoun-Darty a Jewish heiress. The Jewish Defense League posted a DEATH THREAT for him on their website."

I don't know about any of that, all I know is that the ones who slaughter civilians in cold blood over nothing but speech are the Muslims.

You want to talk about slaughtering civilians, Ed? Great!

Let's begin by acknowledging that the killings in Paris are but pinpricks compared to the vast devastation visited by the West on the Muslim world and indeed on most of the planet over the last centuries of colonialism and neocolonialism, policies which have brought ... and continue to bring ... humiliation, genocide and grinding poverty to entire continents.

So you are saying, I suspect, that Muslims killing journalists today is justified because the UN displaced the Palestinians in order to give Israel a homeland.....and maybe because the pilgrims gave the Indians syphilis?

You can't be serious.

Isaac, the fact the the moron Jimmy "the dhimmi" Carter is also blaming the Jews for everything bad in the world sure puts you in suspect company.

You, my friend, are the master of strawman argumentation. I tip my hat to you.

Paul Craig Roberts echos my point (the one you so cleverly misstated) in his column today outlining why “the Charlie Hebdo affair has many of the characteristics of a false flag operation.”

In it he reminds his readers that Washington and its French and NATO vassals have killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims in seven countries during the past 14 years.

Even if Muslims carried out the Charlie Hebdo killings, the odds of which are vanishingly small, the West first needs to remove the 2 x 4 from its own eye before it criticizes the speck of dust in Islam’s eye.

You can’t expect to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people, no matter their ethnicity, without experiencing some blowback, n'est-ce pas?

You know Isaac, even though logic tells me I shouldn't and that this is an apples and oranges argument, I'm going to accept your argument that these killings were committed in retaliation for the collateral deaths of Muslim civilians in Iraq or Afghanistan at the hands of western military ops. (Your other argument about a false-flag conspiracy to gin up anti-Muslim fervor is too dopey to debate)

Even if that's the case and this is just garden-variety, eye-for-an-eye warfare plain and simple, should I be less outraged by it? I already oppose our military presence in those countries as it is, what more can I do?

"...I'm going to accept your argument that these killings were committed in retaliation...."

Pay close attention, Ed. My position is that Muslims did not do Charlie Hebdo.

"Your other argument about a false-flag conspiracy to gin up anti-Muslim fervor is too dopey to debate)"

A great many intelligent and informed people and the facts disagree with you, sir. What you think is and is not dopey is of little matter.

"...should I be less outraged by it?

Your outrage needs to be proportional, sir. Spread it around to all who have earned it. Your anti-Muslim outrage rings hollow since you tolerate much worse ... both in quantity and quality ... from a great many others.

As for me, I oppose the initiation of aggression against the person or property of another regardless of who the perpetrator is. Aggression by phony Christians, Satanic Jews AND extremist Muslims earns my outrage equally.

I just like that Charlie Hebdo's pictures always make Muhammed's head look like a cock and balls.

Heh heh, good catch Ryan. I hadn't noticed that. I'm sure that's intentional.
